D&AD Start Up School
The D&AD Startup School is an intensive business incubator for artists and creators, freelancers and consultants, and aspiring entrepreneurs. If you’ve got the beginnings of an idea then this is the place to bring it to life.
Aimed at creatives and entrepreneurs of many different disciplines, the Startup School will take you from idea to business plan and leave you with a fully fledged business model, funding approach and investor-ready pitch deck. Throughout the course, you will take part in a number or workshops and listen to inspiring talks from industry leaders and entrepreneurs who will teach you what it takes to launch and run a successful business, product or service.
The Startup School is run by Tom Evans, D&AD Awards judge and Founder of BleepBleeps, Tom was previously Creative Director at Being/TBWA and Brand Communications Director at Jack Wills. He co-founded Mook, one of the UK’s leading digital agencies, and has produced work for Nike, Volvo, Unilever, Guinness and Channel 4.
The D&AD Startup School is a 10-session journey through the different phases of starting a business. Workshops and inspiring talks from industry leaders and entrepreneurs will culminate in a chance to pitch your business.
